Huish Episcopi campus is made up of three main areas; Huish Academy, Huish Sixth and Huish Leisure. The Campus accommodates approximately 1800 students and staff, (combined), during term-time and yet is compact and straightforward to orientate.
Huish Academy: Campus site centres around the quad which was constructed in the 1930s with further development over the following decades which have included the addition of a Modern Languages block, a Science block and a brand new Geography block. The Academy campus has two eating facilities the Upper and Lower Refectories which serve the 11-16 student population. There is plentiful outside space for seating and ball games with fields at the North and South sides of the campus.
Huish Sixth: A contemporary building opened in 2010, Huish Sixth is an open, bright building fully equipped for twenty-first century educational needs. Amongst many excellent facilities, Huish Sixth has an imac suite, a soundproofed recording studio, a performance theatre space and an excellent café which serves the 16-18 student population. Huish Sixth looks out over our brand-new, state of the art 4G astro pitch and the outer-lying playing fields.
Huish Leisure: The leisure centre sits at the Southern end of the campus and compromises a sports hall, fitness and dance studios, tennis courts, squash and tennis courts and a heated outdoor pool which opens in spring, (Easter Holidays) and closes at the end of the summer. The leisure centre is a members facility which serves the local community and the students and staff of Huish Episcopi.
